About the role
Provide professional services and mission support as an Exercise and Exercise Control (EXCON) Cell Operations Planner for the United States Army, delivering continuous planning and coordination throughout Joint Exercise Life Cycle events across the Indo‑Pacific.
Key responsibilities
- Develop exercise orders and supporting staff products, synchronising warfighting functions for live, virtual and constructive exercises.
- Track CTC operations, monitor battle‑rhythm events and use MAVEN Smart Systems and other C2 platforms to maintain a common operational picture.
- Assist in planning, preparing and executing combat training centre rotations in line with OPSGRP requirements.
Required profile
- 4+ years experience at brigade level and 2+ years in exercise planning and execution.
- Experience at division, corps, joint or multinational headquarters.
- Secret clearance and ability to travel up to 25%.
- Bachelor’s degree; completion of CGSC, ILE, MEL 4 or Battle Staff Course.
Required skills
- Microsoft Office suite (Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- MAVEN Smart Systems and other command‑and‑control platforms.
