Fuels Handling Equipment (FHE) Supervisor

About the role

The Fuels Handling Equipment (FHE) Supervisor oversees personnel responsible for maintenance, preservation, storage and deployment of USAF fuels handling equipment and vehicle assets in Guam, ensuring compliance with USAF requirements and Amentum quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to operational procedures, technical orders, safety and environmental policies.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections of fuels workshops and work areas.
• Review asset status, identify deficiencies and submit quality deficiency reports.
• Maintain accountability of all OEL and non‑OEL assets and direct shop work for efficiency.
• Supervise troubleshooting, repair, and preparation of fuels assets for deployment.
• Complete employee assessments, administrative maintenance tasks and parts procurement.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent with 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Outstanding customer service, organizational skills and proficiency in English (read, write, speak).
• Valid home‑country driver’s license and ability to obtain a host‑nation license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Public Trust clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

Required skills

• Proficiency with personal computers, Windows OS and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Basic math skills and ability to read technical publications in English.
• Experience operating material‑handling and light to heavy military‑type vehicles/equipment.
• Certification: National Petroleum Management Association Certified Petroleum Specialist (CPs) or equivalent.
